Inner Narcissist

I know it’s destructive

But still I must

You only notice me

When I’m not doing ok

And it gives me a rush

I don’t want love

Not all the time

I want admiration

I know, it’s vain

But at least I’m being honest

And in all actuality

I’m not doing ok

See my attributes

Worship my songs

Obsess over who I am

Love me like it’s wrong

I know, I know

Something’s gotta change

I’m a humble person

With a narcissist’s brain

Hidden motives

I can see right through

So unauthentic

Yet I still do it

I like to look in the mirror when I wear a lumberjack plaid shirt...I ' m narcissist too, although I don't like my acne on my face.
