Inner thoughts

If somebody were to ask me what I couldn't live without I'd tell them plain and dry like a crop during a drought That my will to think freely is to be what I adore To be a good man was the vow to myself I swore Yet another half of my mind is knocking at the door It tells me what I cannot do It tells me that I won't succeed When I see life from this view Making me commit these selfish deeds Is it wrong to not believe in a right or wrong? These thoughts overflow my head like a catchy song. I see beautiful people who would love to be my friend Nobody wants to die alone is somthing that I comprehend But with the right state of mind, life can be a journey that's considered pleasent My inner thought is what I'm content with to be my only present And when the people complain of life's rough goings Remind them that nobody can be all knowing The human race is one that is growing. So as life winds up a curve ball to be launched at your face Keep your head high and take it without the utmost disgrace Tell yourself the world really needs you in your place So maybe one day we might see our children fly along in space. My inner thoughts make me keep moving whether it be back or forward I speak what once was my inner thoughts and make myself be heard
