Inner Thoughts
I scream
From the pain and terror and agony that rips through my heart
When your hand meets my face to a blow.
The bruises start to form,
One
by
one.
Yellow.
Purple.
Blue.
I remember,
The time you kicked me out with a black eye,
While I was holding back my tears,
That even now start to pour.
I try to stay strong and smile,
Through every wrong you did to me,
As I am blinded by your love and hurt.
When you cry of sadness,
I am always there.
For I can never leave you,
Though I try.
You say it’s love,
But all I can ever think of now
Is how I feel inside.
