Inner Voice

you can see it, hear it, & it screams at you.
But you don't know what to say.
You can see it, hear it & it screams at you.
But its hard for you to get away.

You feel the need to walk that way, but the want exceeds that desire.
It grabs hold to your infatuation and tugs at your inner child.
You fall too deep yet you can feel the edge of existence
But thats not where you are headed, and life doesn't want you to forget it.

You can see it, hear it & it screams at you.
But you still forget who you are
You can see it, hear it & it screams at you.
Yet you decide to call out for more.

Falling, falling & falling
you can't get away from this mess
The life that you lead its much more than just something you can impress.
For its something you must learn that life is not only full of surprises,
that all people hide in all shapes & sizes.

Weed out the decievers, the manipulators, the schemers
Because if you believe there are none, then you are just a fool and a dreamer.

You can see it, hear it & it screams at you
But you still choose not to believe it
listen to that intuition
Stand your ground
Folllow that ambition
Make that sound
Because God is telling you to listen.

He can see it, He can hear it & He screams at you
because He's trying to tell you:
Choose to listen
Choose to hear it
Choose to see it
Just Don't choose to dismiss it.
