Innermost

I got in love with myself

It's been a while

Ever since I found out

I was living in denial

Through the years I got stagnated

Cherishing my only soul's company

Closed to possibilities

Closed to smiles

I thought I had just enough

Love comes from within, they say

I breathed, I saw, I judged

Never opened, ever ceased

Walked a lot, never lonely

Though misfiled, though mistaken

Miles breaking, never waiting

Just me and thee: aching
