Innisfree
The educational barrier I faced that really took hard work was my junior year. My junior year I wasn't being my regular self, my grades were the lowest possible, and just who I was overall was the worst. Everyday at school was just a waste of 7 hours to me. At first I did want to learn, but then it turned into a nuisance to me. I gave up entirely to the point where my grades were overall the worst I’ve ever had. I couldn't come to believe I was once that person. Luckily, I was able to pick myself up from that hole and fix everything and now that I look back on it, I know it wasn't easy. Falling into that hole made me do bad things such as not care about my homework, arrive home late, or get to class late and miss the lecture. These things were an everyday thing and it was really bad for me because I was never like that. Because of all of this my grades were the worst and I was scared because they always told me junior year was the most important year. Luckily I was able to realize that it wasn't me. I wasn't that person and I didn't want to be that person anymore. I picked myself up, gave myself a wake up call and started putting in work. It got to the point where I picked up my grades and fixed my attitude and fixed the late home runs. I went back to the me I knew I was. The person who would try their hardest in every class. Like I said before, It wasn't easy at all, but I knew nothing was impossible. I worked so hard to the point where everything clicked again. Everything was back to being the same it was before. I was back on a good educational run, my life at home was sane again, and I felt great about myself again. Most importantly, I learned the value of not giving up ever because nothing is impossible if you set your mind to it.
