Inquisition

Into the darkness I go,

It's okay they’ll never know.

The darkness is my only friend,

And the voice in my head knows how this will end.

The silence got too loud,

Now I am lost in a crowd.

I ran until I couldn’t anymore,

What was all of this for?

My reasons to survive are also the reason I cry,

All the while I am screaming why?

Why do I feel this way?

And why did you make me stay?

Why can’t you answer the things that I say?

And why is my mind fucked up this way?

Hear me out I am staring to go crazy,

Am I where I am meant to be?

Are you disappointed in who I have become?

Or have the demons won?

I started writing poetry around age 12, there will be a mixture of aged and new poems. I was inspired to share by Leslie and my partner in life Joel, 2 of my biggest supporters; Love you two!
