INSANE. by Aaron Ace Cook

What is the definition of insane? Can someone tell me? Because I have become lost in this maze; my mind, And to this maze, I fear there is no end. Medication can only staunch the voices, Constantly ringing in my head, Malicious little voices screaming; “You’re better off dead!” Alcohol- oh sweet alcohol; you’re my only friend, It’s only when I’m intoxicated, That I can escape from this dread; Where shit begins to make sense.. What is the definition of insane? Can someone tell me? Because I have become lost in this maze; my mind, And to this maze, there is no endind until I learn how to break out of my own delusional fantasy that can finally start m'y own Ending the beginning.
