Insanity

The mind is powerful

The mind is dangerous

But what's going on in mine?

Voices echoing.

Voices giggling.

All these responsibilities

Am I going insane?

Leave me be!

Let me live!

I'd rather live in silence

Then let the voices

In my mind

Take over.

"Don't do this"

"Don't do that"

"Live this way"

Live that way"

Isn't my life

Mine to decide?

Rather then letting

Someone choose my path

Shouldn't I choose mine?

Let the insanity go away

I can't bear a second longer

I'd rather live at home

Then let the voices

In my mind

Take over.

I'm only human

Not inanimate

Nor creature.

No one should choose for me

Let me live!

Let me be!

I'd rather live in silence

Then let the voices

In my mind

Take over.
