Insanity
You sir
Are driving me insane
Everything in me
Is focused on you
I can't get you out of my mind
My thoughts revolve around you
And the
Would've been's
The could've been's
And the truth hurts
Because, you sir
Will never love me
The way I love you
You sir
Are driving me insane
My mind is running in circles
Am I not good enough?
Or is she just better?
I'll never truly be
Beautiful or perfect
I try
But I cannot please you
Maybe I'm selfish
Wanting to keep you for my own
But maybe
I'm just protective
Of what once was mine
You sir,
Are driving me insane
It's a beautifully terrible madness
Am I obsessive?
Am I crazy?
A stupid little girl
Hung over on a silly break-up
Is there any love left?
You say we can be just friends
You don't want to lose me
Because you still love me
But if you loved me
Why did you leave?
My trust for you was broken
When I fell for you
And there was no one there to catch me
Shattered dreams
Sleepless nights
One broken heart
You sir,
Are driving me insane
You sought me
And you got me
But you left me battered and torn
Brokenhearted
And now that I think of it
This was never really my fault
'Twas you
I am the victim here
But
I chose to forgive you
Yet again
I keep going back
Though, I know
It will never work
We've tried
Time and time again
You left me
And you came back
But left again
You said you still loved me
So I'll wait
And wait
And wait
Until you are ready
To hurt me again
You do this
But I'll still come back
Like a lovesick puppy
Was I the unwanted gift
You'd pretend to like it
To avoid feelings getting hurt
I'd rather be told
A terrible truth
Rather than
A beautiful lie
When I talk to you
I feel faraway
Am I just a distant memory now?
Someone you once claimed
As your own
You've drained me
Left me empty
And you sir
Are driving me insane
There's this addicting sadness
I go to you
I get hurt
But in my opinion,
It's an honor
To be hurt by you
I get to know
I love someone
That once loved me too
I pour out my feelings in this poem
The things
I'm too scared to tell you
I love you
But you sir
Are driving me insane
