Insanity

I'm in that beautiful place between dream and reality.

Where logic and reason begin to fade away and the subconscience takes riegn;

A place where the two realms of reality and fantasy collide.

Where sight, smell, taste, and sound blend into a single sense.

Where time disappears and thoughts normally discarded to the back of the mind emerge,

they step forward and dance with those who've taken up residence.

A place where those dangerous desires creep from the recesses of the human condition

And the devil on your shoulder urges you on.

Whisps of memories and hopes flash accross the vast abyss of darkness behind your eyelids

And begin to take shape;

to twist and turn until they becomes almost tangible.
