The Insanity That Is Me

Call me old-fashioned

Call me insane.

When it comes to technology

I find nothing to gain.

Through a picture, I feel nothing

False friends on Facebook chatter,

But I don't need any of that

Give a me a real book and I'll be gladder

My poison is also my strength

Things fascinate me but also distract me

So what of that?

I like who I am and who I'm to be.

An angry tyrant, wanting to be heard

Or a dark-minded introvert

Who is to say that I must change?

My soul is the one thing I'll never convert.

My verse is loose?

Well, forgive my trangressions,

I'm afraid my strength is prose

But forgive this poem that transmissions

My true nature.
