The Insanity of My Mind

Location

Madness, Insanity,Darkness they hide in us all

always lurking just below the mind's surface

it sits waiting for the facade of our fake calm to fall

for our calm is nothing more than false bliss.

You may still hold on to the hope

that your brick wall will hold strong

against the madness, but you must learn to cope

with the insanity to have any success last for long.

I do consider myself quite insane

I reject most traditional social rules

but I have had many years to tame

my madness, but you've had none like many fools

When your "sanity" does fall, and trust me it will

you will lose all control, all sanity

their cries will be this " Oh, his mind was always so still

but oh how he lost his humanity!"

So I say embrace the darkness

before it consumes you in a giant mess

It will make you more, not less

For our calm is nothing more than forced bliss.
