ThE iNSaniTy POeM
Hello Everybody.
Am I insane?
Because their things going on in my brain.
Things that I can’t possibly explain
Like I’ve boarded a train that’s slowly winding all the way up a place where only the crazy things remain.
And I feel like I have a migraine
And it’s all in my head
But am I alive or dead?
My fate is as fragile as a thread
And in the dead of night as I lie spread on my bed
I wonder what might be coming up ahead
Could it be the things I dread?
Because I fear what is to come,
And the way I can predict it
And regardless of my wit
I could get hit
Maybe tomorrow my throat could be slit
And while others move on braced for what might come,
I’m stuck thinking what the future could become
Do you get what I mean?
Cause the possibilities are unseen
There IS no absolute solution
I might end up part of a prestigious institution
Or die of electrocution
And damn it I don’t even know
I don’t know where I might go.
