The Insatiable Monster


I see it again A glimpse of the red faced monster Flicks of fury and anger raging in his eyes As calloused words are spattered across my face “Dumbass” “Bitch” With red marks and bruises Tenderly and cautiously placed For the beast to hide his label And mark his territory For years the monster remained dormant Many thought it had even died But once again the monster has been unleashed Stronger and completely revived
