insecure

Photographing pretty lies,

Pretty smiles, pretty eyes,

Pretty dies… so suddenly,

Real… but not reality.

Night already, way too soon,

Sun reflected by the moon,

But alone, is dark… is cold,

New that covers really old.

Ugly… what an awful word,

Unfortunately, often heard,

Even worst… so horribly,

Spoken of myself… by me.

Insecure… a growing word,

That describes a grounded bird,

Meant to fly… stares the sky,

Told to soar… but left to die…
