Insecurities

Dear Insecurities,

You are constantly trying to get a hold of me.

Drowning me in my thoughts of you.

You've succeeded.

You've taken the life out of the most beautiful parts of my soul,

but you've also failed.

I've taken that life back.

I'm fianlly drowning in love and beauty.

The two things that I have finally found in you

because you are my beauty

and I've finally learned to love that;

to love you.

So thank you.

Thank you for making me cry.

Thank you for making me laugh.

Thank you for making me beautiful.

Thank you for making me... me.

Sincerely,

the girl who has finally learned to love you.
