Insecurities

Dear my abundant insecurities,

I love you

I love you to the moon and further

I love you

I love you more then I love myself

But I loathe you

You oppose my body

I loathe you

You never put a hand on me,

But my mind is terrified of you

I loathe you

When you walk around I follow behind you

Constantly competing with your shadow

Do you love me or your shadow

I loathe you

Your constant mind games make me feel vulnerable

Your mind undresses me and you let its whip graze my skin

I loathe myself

I let my mind become the egg to your skillet

I loathe myself

Sincerely,

Kamaya
