I feel your gaze upon me

in this room lit by curtains of

moonlight.

Two lost souls

residing,

finding solace in

blissful ecstasy.

Passion

is what you are;

perfection

is what I'm not.

I shy away from the flame

of your stare.

I know you see my

flaws

with your

flawless

gaze.

This is a very beautiful poem, and I would love to see what you could do with the parallel universes of both seeming characters. I'm curious, what was your inspiration?

Becca.
