Inside the Dark
Shadows everywhere,
Cast all around us.
We're never truly alone.
I have never been afraid of the dark.
I always felt at home there.
It's strange, isn't it?
Feelings of calm and
Comfort dwell with me
There, inside the dark.
It's like a blanket.
The darkness protects me from
The monsters outside
That roam in the light.
