Inside a Lemon Tree

Do the leaves tickle when the wind teases?

Whispering thought about the day.

Bark smooth and controlling the growth of bole and branch

while birds sing.

A flower sweet; nectar tempting even the most hesitant bee

growing into a fruit needing an extra ingredient to be sweet.

So much goes on under the shade

feeling good to be inside the lemon tree.
