Inside, Looking Out.

Inside, Looking Out.....

On a rainy day,

you often curse

the inconvenience

of the rain.

As you stare through

plate glass,

reflecting on

outside dampness,

trees and plants

dripping

droplets of moisture.

Oh, how

the rain has spoilt,

your day,

cursed weather

you exclaim dramatically,

'tis keeping you locked inside,

being bored to tears,

got nothing to do,

a real 'P.L.O.M' day,

of Poor Little Old Me syndrome.

Child of 'PLOM'

look inside of yourself;

to enable you to look

outside of yourself.

I know the rain has spoilt your day

but the blessings

it brings,

adequately compensates,

the parched and dry surfaces.

As each droplets of liquid gold,

falling

from the heavens,

brings forth

newness,

virgin growth,

greening grass,

and the freshness

a warm bath brings,

when coming inside.

So child of the living God,

inside of each,

we all have purity of heart,

and we need not

look inwards

but from inside,

look on out

at the blessings.....
