Inside me
Those promises I wish you would make, for me
but you don't complete your word.
Trusting is hard,
I try and it would seem like you don't,
hurting every step of the way.
And I choose not to say a word.
Should I tell you the truth,
or keep it to myself?
Letting it consume me.
Consume me until nothing is left,
nothing but a shell of what I once was.
Hiding is killing me slowly,
you ask but do not pressure me,
to see if I'm okay.
But I can't tell you,
for telling you might break you.
Breaking you ends me.
If only you would see,
what's killing me.
But what's killing me is holding me together.
So what do you think I should do?
Something wrong with this poem?
