Inside of Me

Inside of me;

That's where everything seems to be.

No words escape,

No one can relate,

I could never say what I am truly feeling.

Black pen to white paper

And suddenly, like vapor

My emotions float out of me

And I am free.

Everyone can read what I am truly feeling.

Inside of me;

That's where everything seems to be.

Except when I write,

That's when it all comes to light.

That's when I can say what I am truly feeling.
