The inside out
On the outside I'm calm, but really, I'm screaming
I may look awake, but really, I'm dreaming
All the things you see and know
That's just the me i try to show
On the outside, I smile, on the inside i cry
I may look like i can't see past your lies
There's more to me than you can see
Now you know that i am free
On the outside, i don't care, on the inside I'm sorry
I may look okay, but really, I'm scarring
From all the wounds opening
From all the horrid memories
On the inside, I'm a monster wishing to get out
I look like an angel, now it's time to doubt
Everything that you have seen is no longer the same
Says the girl with multiple names
