Inside a Phantom

Pour out the truth in blood
Swords and daggers fall from the sky
Piercing screams bring you to life
Taste the poison burning underneath your tongue
There aren't enough hours to fill the night alone
Open your beautiful eyes and look for another day
Hide your latest mistake behind lies
Finish with a jagged end
Break it into a million pieces
Neddles and blades are buried in the backyard
Make believe you released the demons next door
That drowning silence is a deadline
Stand on an illusion
Fight something with no feeling
Bruises take their place
Find the courage to withstand
Cupped hands hold fallen tears
Search for the nothingness in you
The mask shows who you wish to be
Hunt for your genie
The stars look down on you
Let go of the secrets
