inside the stranded mind.

lost, hopeless, stranded and going no wheres fast,

I've been left to my own clammy skin in the heat of withdrawl.

addiction wasnt supposed to turn out this horrible

and now I cant live without my pills,

aderall and oxy one calms me down for classes and the other brings me up for the night life

this wasn't supposed to be me

no one should have seen me pill popping in the bathroom

or losing my shit in the courtyard to high to care about the officer around the corner

and I never thought I'd be here, rehabbed and grabbed up by desert island heat

and still all I need is my oxy

if one day the drugs kill me at least I've died on the deans list.

I just had to pass that last test

never though of the consiquence of failing a drug test.

But now i just need my oxy

its like my baby living breathing inside my cravings and 90 days sober isnt enough to curb the need

if i had to be lost broken going no where id rather do it high,

go ahead and judge me

but this is just the mentality of a sober addict.
