Inside Is Your Fate
Those with that power
but not a heart of gold,
Can look inside
and your story will be told.
They look inside
but what do they see?
Where the future and present do collide,
is what you are told
when they look inside.
You wonder as you sit,
listening to your fate.
Awaiting, as a “gifted” person
waits for you to take the bait.
Some do and some do not
but the mystery remains
as the one with the “gift”
leaves your fate to fill your brain.
At last it is time to leave,
but of course not without your fate.
This that has been read to you
by the one that threw you the bait.
And as you leave through the door, and into the street
you begin to wonder if your fate will hold complete.
