Insidious

The strands of her hair illuminated the fluorescent, darken theater.

Soothing yet deceptive…

She must have been the last one,

The last to leave, the first to arrive.

She seemed odd and vaguely omnipresent.

Tranquil yet fragmented…

She danced as though no one was watching,

Every graceful limb moved with such ease around the stage,

As if she came from far away land, some where not of this world.

As the night carried on, the lights began flickering.

And so did she, vanishing into nothing.
