Insignificant

Lectern of purpose driven everything

That points me up the laddered steps.

Let’s follow the pastor’s empty nothing

Fill our existence with substance something.

Infinite vast expanse to collapse

Yet putting forth the growing revenue-

the Church congregational claims of God-

And then to laugh down autonomy’s rise.

Infinite galaxy expanding, nonetheless,

Trust in the helping guided likeness at hand

-the abstraction of mindful wishing-

-the desperation of oneness and being-

That we are not nothing at all.

Dismiss our insignificance,

Irrelevance and diminishing.

Contribute the piling matter,

The conscious ties of gene.

-the greater side of mankind.

IconoclastSalem

Faeries, magick, enchantment, Tir Na Nog, Mother Earth, poetry, the stars, and wonder are all I need in life. Hey, I'm Salem. I'm just an average nobody trapped in forever cycles of hurt and repent. My mind mixes thought and reality ever so painfully which, in turn, creates the chaotic painting that is my life. Who said chaos couldn't be beautiful?
