Insignificant to significant.

In a universe that is 13.8 billion years old

In a galaxy that  is 13.2 billion years old

In a solar system that is 4.6 billion years old

On Earth which is 4.5 billion years old

We tend to have a perception in which our life has purpose

Human life is a mere blip in the grand scheme of the universe

If the universe was a book, human life wouldn't be a page, a sentance, a word, or even a letter

If we were gone tomorrow, who would know, remember, or care

This thought of insignificace is an amazing realization and a significant paradigm

Humans are nothing more than a configuration of atoms bonding together, forming self recognizing beings

Self recognition is a beautiful thing

We are the only things that we have observed to understand that our time here is limited

We understand how small we are, and how brief our existance really is

This gives our life meaning

So, you may feel insignificant, realize that everything you do in life is significant, and your kind is the only things that we have observed to be able to live life as we do

and the thing sitting on your shoulders is the most complex object yet observed in the universe.
