I lay in bed alone at night  

My mind begins to wander  

I should be sleeping  

My thoughts are keeping  

Me awake to ponder  

 

I miss the days when I was young 

A carefree life I lived  

To go back in time 

Would be so sublime 

Oh what I wouldn’t give
