Insomnia
The moon, staring down from above.
The stars, sprinkled across the sky.
Her mental state, weary.
Her physical state, exhausted.
Sleep does not consume her.
Eyes, staring into nothingness.
Mind, racing from thought to thought.
She cannot find peace.
The sun, beginning to rise.
Eyes, still open.
A whole night wide awake.
