Insomnia
Sleepless days, sleepless nights.
Time ticks closer to the fall features.
Classes at day, classes at night,
can't decide which schedule is right.
I never sleep anyways, either schedule should be easy.
I'll just stay up, study and munch on cold pizza.
I work 9 to 5 and in class late night, I still can't sleep even though I'm so tired.
I come home and take hot showers, sit on my sofa with laptop and book in hand.
I've been awake longer than I can stand.
I have a huge exam in the morning break, I attempt to study but my head hurts
the more I intake.
I am still awake, but not for long.
I finally fell asleep while writing this poem.
