Insomnia

And underneath the skin and hated and all the pain

I'm just a kid trying to stay sane

And I couldn't put together these pieces I have broken

I'd rather have you relisten to the words that I have spoken

I am wise to my own demise

I prefer not to view this so instead I'll close my eyes

We are ignorant to the words they have to offer

This world has closed its eyes because it prefers to suffer
