Insomnia
I lie awake thinking
While staring at my ceiling
About so many things
To name a few: my day
Tomorrow
The paint chip on
The wall
How many days until
The weekend
Did I remember to do something
I wasn’t supposed to
Remember to do?
Will he leave?
I never said
Goodbye to my dog
Darkness
My heartbeat in my head
Sounds like footsteps in the hallway
If someone broke in
Would they hear
My screams?
Would anyone help?
