insomnia

insomnia wrapps me up in her spiteful arms,

every night,

same story,

same anxiety,

same worry,

that i will not fall asleep;

that i will be haunted by those dark thoughts.........that i don't need.

they said sleeping pills work,

they said,

but ,

now all i can feel is drowsiness that,

relaxes my muscles,

but never my mind,

my mind,

what an evil thing you are,

my mind,

a part of my yet,

hates me so much,

hates me so much that,

once again,

it abandons me in the same spiteful arms,

i fear every night
