Inspiration

You dedicated your life to being there for the ones you love

Compassion you had, empathy you carried and darkness you lacked like a dove

You made me who I was and your words are forever engraved in my mind

How can God take away someone so kind

Is a question that seems to linger but

Grandpa you were there for me you shaped me to who I was

You taught me that days do get bighter

and all that stress you felt like you were carrying on your shoulders will get lighter

Grandpa I just want to thank you for teaching me just that

You would tell me you couldn't wait to see me grow up to wear that quince dress on my quince

And the wedding dress on my wedding

Then you weould tell me that you might not be around to see it

For the cancer was not something that you can just beat it

But grandpa I truly hope your proud of me

Infact you were the one to influence me

To try harder

To be better

And most of all to smile brighter
