Inspiration

Inspiration does not come easy

It can be as fickle as flower

leaving me as quickly as a rain shower

But sometimes I'll see

a peice of art that pleases me

Or music that fills my soul

until my heart is no longer putrid and foul

laughs of family I hold dear

storing the memories of them when not near

These sustain me when all seems black

helping me stay true when I can't go back
