what inspires me?

something to think about,

something to consider.

I ask my dad,

"what inspires me?"

and for the first time,

I was scared to see how

I wasn't even aware of

the thing that drives my life

...whatever it is.

he responds quickly,

faster than I had expected.

"when you see a need,

that is what inspires you

that is what

drives you that is

what gives you purpose"

and so I sit reflecting on

what

inspires

me.

he knows me better than I know myself.

now I can see it.

I can see

why I applied for nursing school,

why I have gone on mission trips,

why I would rather be out with others

than in with myself.

why I do

what I do.

why I love

what I love.

it's all

about

need expressed

and help given.

that

is what

inspires me.
