Inspiration

Sun, 01/12/2020 - 16:22 -- jt77

Standing in the rain
under a slate grey sky,
grass tickling the bottoms
of bare feet,

Arms spread wide
to embrace it all
as the wind howls
and the trees sigh.

Thunder roars and
I laugh -
Here, in the rain,
I feel ready to take on the world.
