Inspiration
It’s almost underrated,
the ability to find inspiration.
It’s something I’ve strived for, all my life.
For now, I find it in
the rain that falls on my shoulders
the wind that tousles my hair
the hope and the despair that afflict me
the smile of the woman I love
the medley of her eyes
the music that is her soul
And in the whirlwind around me
