Inspiration
I live under lights that make my forehead leak,
Gliding myself like a bird flaunting its wings,
Where I talk with my movement and never speak,
My God-given passion I will forever cling.
The life that I’ve lived, soared, and discovered,
Is no match for what is uncovered.
My dream is to eternally share my love,
To perform with grace and teach with poise,
To dance like the olive branch and Noah’s dove,
To inspire all ages: girls and boys.
I dream to encourage, dance, and study,
No matter if my feet are rough and bloody.
Dance instruction will change my life,
As I watch my students learn and grow,
Conquering all setbacks, heartbreak, and strife,
Reminding myself of all I owe.
God will watch me as I transform into what I dream,
Creating the perfect image, inspiring the perfect team.
