Inspiration

I miss your brown eyes staring back at me,

Sparkling like schools of fish in the sea,

Your tender touch and warm embrace,

It just felt right and perfectly placed,

Your tall slender body,

And short brown hair,

The smell of cologne,

Flows through the air,

It can't be right,

No one else would understand,

The way you inspire me,

To lend a helping hand,

To better myself,

Both inside and out,

Get over my fears,

Of speaking about,

The terrors I feel,

At night and at day,

I can't seem to focus,

They pull me away,

It's never that bad,

You tell me everyday,

That I should focus on myself,

In an unselfish kind of way,

I'm forever in debt,

To you my friend,

For helping me destroy,

The demons under my bed.
