Inspiration
Poetry was just one of those units in my English class that I absolutely hated. I always thought that poetry was bogus, and it was because most peoms we were assigned didn't make any sense at all. There was words I have never heard of, the the topic was about something I honestly didn't care about. It all change due to a late homework assignment submission. We were assigned to write a peom for homework the day before, and I totally forgot it was due. I created a peom within 7 minutes just so I cold get the homework grade. It was about life, and what does it mean to you(me)? Suprisingly I got a perfect score on it, and something clicked in my head. I actually enjoyed it from there on out, and honestly poetry is something that can never be taken from you. No matter how hard someone tries to take away your voice it cannot be done. Poetry keeps my heart beating blood through my veins every single day. Without poetry, I'd simply be corpse with no purpose.
