Inspiration From Desperation

When the cards are forced to fold

When the last straws break

How will your story be told

What would it take?

For you to rise above the task

And even through their spite

Could you learn to bask

In a new type of light?

Leave the negative behind

And make your name mean something

Because time cannot rewind

And running gets you nothing.
