Inspiration Forevermore

Struggles of the day can come from anywhere,

I try to push them away and I try to smile

Sometimes it can be hard to break from a blank stare

And remember what makes it worthwhile.

Drowning in projects, papers, and tests,

What is the motivation for me to keep pushing?

In small moments I know it's for the best

But then I remember all that I'm wishing.

From the beginning it has always been the same,

my aspirations stem from the same source.

Something I could never tame,

Was the love I held for my family and friends of course!

To have grown up with such genuine care I truly feel grateful,

Every day I can't help but marvel at how much I feel for them.

All my decisions now feel fateful,

As I now live my steps with a delightful hum.

Today I'm consistently reminded of the support I have forevermore,

And it lifts me up to a potential I never knew I could hold.

Never can I doubt that I find myself alone, no, never more,

I can rely on those in my life until they very end no matter what I may be told.
