The Inspiration of God

This world can be dark

But we need to spark

The light that shines within

So raise your chin and grin

The fights not over yet

God tells us never fret

In a world with all dismay

I'm the light that shines the way

I may not be the best

But I aspire to pass the test

Until there is no breath to breathe

Souls will be changed before I leave

Through my actions, words, and faith

I'll challenge my life day by day

To make everyone around me smile

Even if I feel fragile

God's promise keeps me going

Leaving me to feel like I am floating

And when I feel that there is no way

God is here to save the day

Inspiration has no rest

That's why God keeps me so blessed

And when I feel that there is no way

God is here to save the day

So when I have a scare

God stays with me to bare

My emotions on a wire

His love and light leave me inspired.
