Inspiration of a Nerdfighter

Inspiration, strength

Coming from those around me

Coming from those far away

It started with the actions

Of kindness and of grace

Putting joy on their face

I heard of them through whispers,

In passing

I wondered who they were

"Nerdfigheria," they called themselves

Fighting for the nerds

Fighting for a better world

First it's for people

But also the planet

But really for anything at all.

They came out of youtube

The voices of the Green brothers

But became much more than that

Don't forget to be awesome

Don't forget to be smart

Don't forget to be kind

Don't forget to have heart

International but united

Passionate and brave

These are the people I will emulate

This is who I will become.
