Inspiration That Never Dies

Soaring from beyond the clouds

Is a young boy who once roamed this round wretched plow

Imagining the smile on his brown face

Cheering while screaming with his classmates

Walking with those black pants and mint shirt

Unaware of your last days on this Earth

As you continue down those tiny isle

Class of 2019, the parents beamed

Now dancing, swimming; your all for fun

Until an “accident” happens,  under water your done

Running outside parents are all shocked

Fifteen heads the count shall be

My brother body is found flowing free

Listening for the sirens as theycome close

Oops it’s too late

Time to share the dose

This day broke my family, we the same, no more

Case you cannot open

It’s a locked door

Six years later the pain remains

Now I’m in college trying to make a change

Inspiring me, thus what you done

To become a criminologist my journey has began.
